NCH, New Delhi, invites Comments / Suggestions over the draft regulations - 2022

Key changes in these two draft regulations:
1. All medical institutions shall install iris based biometric attendance machine for regular capturing of the attendance of human resources as specified in this regulation. The biometric attendance shall be made available on the medical institution website in the form of daily attendance dash board
2. For monitoring the medical institutions, closed circuit tv cameras shall be installed in the colleges, which should maintain backup of 3 months recording for quick reference whenever asked during the inspections of Commission or ministry of Ayush.
3. E.1.Teaching staff: There shall be minimum teaching staffs for B.H.M.S. degree course (42 Staff)
4. The minimum basic pay of teaching staffs shall be as per the following table, namely: -(Minimum monthly salary)
- 1. Assistant professor - Pay level-10, pay matrix Rs.56,100- 1,77,500 (as per 7th cpc)
- 2. Associate professor - Pay level-12, pay matrix Rs.78,800- 2,09,200 (as per 7th cpc)
- 3. Professor - Pay level-13, pay matrix Rs.1,23,100- 2,15,900 (as per 7thcpc)
- 4. Principal/Head of the institution - Pay level-13a, pay matrix Rs.1,31,100- 2,16,600 (as per 7th cpc)
6. Introduction of Fundamentals of Yoga in BHMS
7. Introduction of Research Methodology and Biostatistics in BHMS
8. Electives- Commission has decided to introduce electives to be implemented at the
BHMS course from academic year 2023-24.
9. Recognized post graduate qualifications shall be completed before the age of 45 years
for the appointment of teaching staff.
