Drug Making Unit of HOMCO to be Set up in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister V.S.Sivakumar said that a drug manufacturing unit of the Kerala State Homoeopathic Co-operative Pharmacy Ltd. (HOMCO) would be set up in Thiruvananthapuram.

He was delivering a talk after inaugurating the second anniversary of the cancer care unit of the Government Homoeopathic Medical College here.

The drug manufacturing unit will be set up at the Government Homoeopathic Medical College campus once land is made available.

The Minister also inaugurated the renovated pharmacy at the medical college.

Sivakumar said that Homoeopathy could be integrated with the treatment programme at RCC if a proposal is submitted.
