Health Minister and Ayush Minister in NDA 3.0 Cabinet

The long-awaited portfolio allocation, which follows the first Cabinet meeting of the new Modi government, signals continuity as the NDA 3.0 under PM Modi seeks to carry on the growth momentum and synergy in its third straight term at the Centre.

Among the 71 ministers who took oath along with the Prime Minister on Sunday (09-06-2024), Shri Jagat Prasad Nadda is allocated with Minister of Health and Family Welfare. Additionally, he will also be heading the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers as a cabinet minister.

The winner from the Mirzapur constituency, Smt Anupriya Patel continues as Minister of State (MOS) Health and Family Welfare. In addition to this, she has also been named the MOS for Chemicals and Fertilizers.

Shri Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao from Shiv Sena is going to serve as Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Ayush, and has also been handed over the position of MOS in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
