National Institute of Health and Family Welfare offers PGDPHM Course for Ayush Doctors
Post - Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) (2017-2018) Offered by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
Course Duration: Residential course, of one year duration.
Venue of the Course: The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare Munirka, New Delhi - 110067, India
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should have a Graduate / Post -Graduate degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Natural/life Sciences, Management, Social Sciences, Social Work, Economics, Statistics or any equivalent qualification. Candidates with work experience in health/ development sector will be given the priority.
Candidates with work experience in health/development sector will be given preference.
Selection Process: The selection will be made strictly on, the basis of merit. Eligible candidates would be screened, based on their application and statement of purpose by a specially constituted screening committee. Short-listed candidates would then be interviewed and the final list will be announced. The final selection of the candidate is based on qualifications, relevant experience, statement of purpose and interview. The weightage for each component will be a follows:
- Qualifications - 30%
- Relevant experience - 30%
- Statement of purpose - 10%
- Interview - 30%
- Total - 100%
Course Fee:
- Tuition Fees - Rs. 1.25 lakhs per student
- Boarding and lodging (optional) - Rs. 1.25 lakhs (covers accommodation and food)
Location of the Institute: The Institute is situated in South Delhi, near Jawaharlal Nehru University and Munirka DDA flats. It is easily accessible from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (approximately 12kms). Pre-paid taxis are available at the airport.
Accommodation: Adequate hostel accommodation would be provided to the participants only, within the Institute's campus. Relatives, friends and guests are not allowed.
