North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH) is an up-coming Autonomous Institute, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Comprising Ayurveda and Homoeopathy colleges and attached hospitals. Institute will impart Graduate, Post graduate, Doctoral and Research Programmes in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy. 

NEIAH here by invites applications from Indian Citizen for the following posts to be filled-up by Direct Recruitment/Deputation/ Short Term Contract as mentioned against each post.

1. Principal Homoeopathy college

No. of Posts: 1 (One Post)

Salary: Rs.37400-67000 (PB 4), GP Rs 8900 + NPA admissible as per Central Govt. Rules. Group A

Age: 56 years for deputation and 55 yrs for contract (No relaxation in upper age limit will be granted for this post)

Qualification:

Essential:
a) Officers of the Central/ State Government/ Autonomous bodies/ Statutory bodies fully funded by the Government and holding:-
Analogous posts OR Holding the post of Professor in Pay Band 4 with Grade pay of Rs 8700 and having 3 yrs regular service in the grade.
AND
b) Possessing the following qualification and experience:
i) Post Graduate qualification recognized in Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
ii) 20 years standing in profession out of which at least 3 years regular service in Professor grade.
iii) Eight year experience in PG teaching.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D. in Homoeopathy
2. Experience in Research & Administration.
Contract
Qualification and Experience Same as above for deputation.

2. Professor (Homoeopathic Subjects)

No. of Posts: (Materia Medica - 1 UR, Organon of Medicine - 1 OBC , Case taking and Repertory - 1 UR)

Salary: Rs. 37400- 67000 (PB 4), GP Rs 8700 + NPA as admissible as per Central Govt. Rules.
Group A

Age: 50 Years

Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
a) Post Graduate degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject under HCC Act 1973.
b) 15 years of teaching experience out of which 5 years as Reader/ Associate Professor in the concerned subject.
c) Five year PG teaching experience.
Desirable :
I) PhD in the concerned subject (Internal candidates with Residential PhD shall get preference over outside candidates.)
II) Experience as Supervisor/Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homoeopathy and Publication
III) Administrative experience in a Homoeopathy college/hospital.
IV) Research experience in a research institution recognized by the concerned University and/or State Government or Central Government.

3. Professor Homoeopathy college ( Allied Subject)

No. of Posts: Anatomy - 1 OBC, Physiology - 1 ST, Practice of Medicine - 1 SC, Obstetrics & Gynecology - 1 UR and Surgery - 1 UR.

Salary: Rs.37400- 67000 (PB 4), GP Rs 8700 +NPA as Admissible as per Central Government Rules.
Group A

Age: 50 Years

Qualification:
a) Post Graduate Degree in concerned subject of Homoeopathy included in the second scheduled of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973 OR
Post Graduate Medical degree in the concerned subject recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
b) 15 years of teaching experience out of which 3 years as Reader/ Associate Professor in the concerned subject.
c) Five year experience in PG teaching.
Desirable :
a). PhD in the concerned subject (The internal candidates with Residential PhD shall get preference over outside candidates.)
b) Post-Graduate such as M.Sc (Anatomy)/(Physiology)/
(Pharmacology) etc. for the respective allied subject
c) Experience as Supervisor/Guide for Post Graduate programme in Homeopathy and original publication in research.
d) Research experience in an institute recognized by a University and/or State Government or Central Government.
e) Administrative experience in a Homoeopathy college/Hospital.

4. Reader (Homoeopathic Subjects)

No. of Posts: Materia Medica - 1 UR, Organon of Medicine - 1 OBC, Case taking and Repertory - 1 SC.

Salary: Rs.15600- 39100 (PB 3), GP Rs 7600 + NPA as admissible as per Central Govt. Rules.
Group A

Age: 45 Years

Qualification:
a) Post Graduate degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
b) 7 years of teaching experience including three years in Post Graduate teaching in the concerned subject or 10 years Under Graduate Teaching experience in the concerned subject as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor
Desirable:
a). PhD in the concerned subject.
b). Original research paper publication in Peer Reviewed Professional Journals
c) Research experience in a research institution recognized by a University and / or State Government or Central Government

5. Reader (Homoeopathic college - Allied Subjects)

No. of Posts: Anatomy - 1 UR, Physiology - 1 UR, practice of Medicine - 1 UR, Obstetrics & Gynaecology - 1 ST and Surgery - 1 OBC.

Salary: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3), GP Rs 7600 + NPA as admissible as per Central govt. rules (Group - A)

Age: 45 Years

Qualification:

  Essential:
1.Post Graduate Degree in concerned subject of Homoeopathy included in the Second Scheduled of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973.
2. Minimum 7 years professional experience in a reputed institution/hospital after obtaining Post Graduate degree.
Desirable:
I) Master in hospital Administration (MHA)/MBA (HM)/P.G. Diploma in hospital Admn (full time)
Minimum 2 years duration from a recognized university.
Ii) Experience of working as Asst/Deputy Medical Superintend.
Deputation:
a) Officer holding the post of Sr. MO, RMO and Asstt. Professor/lecturer with 5 years in GP Rs.6600 or 10 years in GP Rs. 5400; and
b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience prescribed for direct recruitment.
