This is also a fact that the professional education in the field of medical sector is not affordable for everyone but the scholarships provided by government and organization helps to break the barrier of financial barrier. We are providing detail of some scholarship given in the medical field to help the students.

    Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship
    The Hungarian Government is offering scholarships for 200 Indian students to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil/PhD and postdoctoral studies in Hungary in the fields of Natural and Life Sciences, Candidates applying for this scholarship should have an appropriate knowledge of English language. Candidates can send application form along with the documents to the UGC Office. Selected candidates will be given reward as full Tuition fee, Medical Insurance and Monthly allowance of HUF 40460 p.m. HUF 1, 00,000 p.m. for PhD. Students.

    Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (UK)
    These scholarships are given for higher studies/ research/specialized training in the Medical and Pure and applied Science, in the U.K. The eligibility to apply for the scholarship is six months clinical training programme for MBBS, BDS, MS, and MD degree holders. Candidates can apply online or can also send application by post. Selected candidates will be rewarded Airfare to the U.K. and return, , tuition fees, personal maintenance allowance of £917 per month and £1,134 per month for those studying at institutions in London.

    TATA BHEL FAEA Scholarships
    FAEA invites application for scholarships to pursue undergraduate studies in Medical Professional disciplines at any University/institution/College in India. Approximate numbers of scholarships are 300. Candidates applying for TATA BHEL FAEA Scholarships 2015 should belong to socially and economically disadvantaged sections; preference will be given to students in BPUSC/ST category. Applicants should have passed Class XII from a recognized board in India. 1st year under graduate students can also apply for this scholarship. Selected candidates will be rewarded Tuition fee, maintenance allowance or hostel and mess charges.

    MHA CPMFS Scholarship
    Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMFs) gives scholarships to deserving medical students those want to serve the nation in Medical Services of CPMFs. 25 medical students are awarded this scholarship each year. Under this scholarship Rs. 10000/- per month is awarded for the duration of MBBS Course.

    Rhodes Scholarships
    This scholarship is given to Indian medical students for pursuing full-time postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford, UK. Rhodes scholarship covers all University and College fees, a personal stipend and one economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the Scholarship, as well as an economy flight back to the student’s home country.

    Newcastle University Undergraduate Scholarships
    Newcastle University awards scholarships for Indian medical students to pursue undergraduate studies. The scholarship worth £3,000 each will be paid for the first year of tuition fees. Application should be submitted till 30th June 2015.

    INTO St George’s Foundation Scholarships
    INTO St. George’s Foundation provides scholarships for Indian medical students. The amount of scholarship is £16,950 only. Students should possess the English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5. The first deadline is 4th July 2015 and second is 1st August 2015.

    Douglas H.K. Lee Family Scholarships
    This scholarship is given to those Indian medical students who want to undertake a research project. Under this program three scholarships will be awarded for one year. The application deadline is 31st July 2015.

    TUBITAK Graduate Scholarship Programme
    This scholarship is given to Indian medical students who want to pursue a graduate degree program in Turkey. Duration for the TÜBITAK scholarship is 2 years for the Masters and 4 years for the PhD program. The period of application is from 4 August 2015 to 12 September 2015.

    IDB Scholarship Programme
    Islamic Development Bank provides scholarship to meritorious financially needy young Muslim Indian medical students to pursue undergraduate study in professional courses. The scholarship covers all relevant expenses including tuition fees, health and living costs as determined by the IDB. The application deadline is the month of December.
