NHM Kottayam Recruitment 2026 – Ayurveda & Homoeo Medical Officer, Epidemiologist Jobs

Arogyakeralam – National Health Mission, Kottayam has invited applications for various contractual positions under the State/District Health and Family Welfare Society, National Health Mission. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts of Ayurveda Medical Officer, Epidemiologist, Junior Consultant (M&E) and Homoeo Medical Officer.

Details of Vacancies

1. Ayurveda Medical Officer

• Qualification: BAMS
• Registration: TCMC Registration
• Experience: Two years of post-qualification experience
• Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.10.2026
• Monthly Salary: ₹36,000/-

2. Epidemiologist

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate with a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine, Public Health or Epidemiology (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, etc.).
• Any Medical Graduate with five years of experience in Epidemiology/Public Health.

Desirable Qualification:

• Minimum two years of experience in issues related to Public Health Programmes or as an Epidemiologist.

• Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.10.2026
• Monthly Salary: ₹55,250/-

3. Junior Consultant (M&E)

Essential Qualification:

• BDS / B.Sc Nursing with MPH.
• Desirable experience of one year post-qualification.

Alternative Qualification:

If eligible candidates with both the above qualifications are unavailable, Ayurveda graduates with MPH will be considered.

• Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.10.2026
• Monthly Salary: ₹30,000/-

4. Homoeo Medical Officer

• Qualification: BHMS
• Registration: TCMC Registration
• Experience: Two years of post-qualification experience
• Age Limit: 40 years as on 01.10.2026
• Monthly Salary: ₹36,000/-

General Terms and Conditions

1. Selection will be based on qualification, examination where necessary, and performance in the interview.
2. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis.
3. The contract period may be extended at the discretion of the District Health and Family Welfare Society, Kottayam, based on the performance and integrity of the selected candidate.
4. Persons terminated from the National Health Mission as part of disciplinary proceedings are ineligible to apply.
5. Incomplete applications or applications without the necessary supporting documents will be rejected.
6. Candidates must bring original ID proof and prescribed certificates at the time of interview.
7. All communications, including interview call letters, will be sent through email.
