Educational Qualification

• BHMS, BAMS or BUMS degree from an institution recognised by the respective council.
• Completion of compulsory internship at the time of application.
• Valid registration certificate from the respective council.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and able to read, write and speak Bengali.
• BHMS candidates must satisfy the recognised qualification and registration requirements specified in the official notification.

Preferential Qualification

Candidates holding an MD degree in Homoeopathy, Ayurveda or Unani from an institution recognised by the respective council will be awarded additional marks as prescribed in the official notification.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the academic scoring system and preferential criteria specified in Annexure A of the recruitment notification.
