JIPMER Recruitment 2026 – Project Technical Support–III

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Project Technical Support–III on a contractual basis for an externally funded research project.

The project is titled “An implementation research study on developing a high-quality patient-centric integrated model for emergency care systems in selected districts of India” and is funded by ICMR. The post is under the Department of Emergency Medicine & Trauma, JIPMER.

Vacancy Details

• Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 33,600/- per month (Rs. 28,000/- + Rs. 5,600/- 20% HRA)

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS with MPH
• Good command over Tamil and English – speaking, reading and writing

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in working in Qualitative Research / Mixed Methods
• Experience in working on projects/programmes at state or district level

Maximum Age Limit: Up to 35 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities

• Conducting qualitative data collection, including in-depth interviews and focused group discussions
• Transcribing and analysing qualitative interviews
• Travelling to urban/rural health facilities in Puducherry district for data collection
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence is mandatory
• Any additional work assigned by the Principal Investigator

Selection Process

After evaluation of the application form, shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview.

• Biostatistics

Interview:

• Qualitative & Mixed Method Research
• Implementation Research
