The State Health Society, Goa, Directorate of Health Services, Panaji, has invited applications for the post of Consultant – ARSH(PM) under the National Health Mission (NHM).

Nature of Appointment: Contract basis for one year

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the post of Consultant – ARSH(PM) must possess:

• BAMS/BHMS; and
• Master in Hospital Management (2 years’ full-time programme), OR
• Master in Health Management (2 years’ full-time programme), OR
• Master in Public Health Management (2 years’ full-time programme).

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in managing State Public Health Programmes and Trainings in Public Health.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate training programmes.
• The selected candidate will have to travel extensively to different parts of the state.

Age Limit

The age limit for the posts is preferably 18 years to 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government instructions/orders. The notification specifies relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.

Residence Requirement

A 15-year residence certificate is mandatory for applicants, subject to the exceptions specified in the recruitment notification.

Other Important Conditions

• Knowledge of Konkani is essential, while knowledge of Marathi is desirable.
• The selected candidate may be stationed at different parts of the State of Goa.
• The appointment is purely contractual and the selected candidate will have no claim for future absorption in any regular State Government job.
• The jobs created under the National Health Programme will not be regularised.
• Applications without valid council registration, wherever applicable, will not be entertained.
• Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to background checks, verification of qualifications and other assessments.
