The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Kolkata, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has invited applications for 1 post of Consultant (AYUSH Disciplines) on a contractual and co-terminus basis for the collaborative IMR project titled “Digitized Retrieval Application for AYUSH-Substance (DRAVYA)”.

• Maximum Age: 64 years as on the date of Walk-in Interview
• Remuneration: ₹50,000/- per month (consolidated)

Educational Qualification

Essential:

• BAMS/BHMS/BSMS with a minimum of 5 years of research experience.
• OR Post-Graduate Degree in Pharmacognosy / M.Pharm (Ay.) / MS Natural Products / M.Sc. in Botany / Medicinal Plants / Biotechnology / Life Sciences from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 5 years of research experience.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of developing an exhaustive, reusable database of AYUSH drugs/ingredients.
• Ability to integrate information from legacy sources with standard online databases from India and international agencies.
• Skills in drafting, editing and reviewing scientific documents, articles and technical reports.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
