AIIMS Nagpur Recruitment 2026: Medical Officer (Homeopathy) and Medical Officer (Unani)
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for recruitment to various Group-A Non-Faculty posts on a direct recruitment basis.
1. Medical Officer (Homeopathy)

Essential Qualification:
- Degree in Homeopathy from a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized under the relevant council.
- Enrolment on the Central Register of the respective stream or in the Central/State Register of Indian Medicine.
- 3 years' clinical and/or teaching experience in a recognized hospital/teaching institution.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Homeopathy from a recognized University/Statutory/State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine.
2. Medical Officer (Unani)

- Category: UR
- Group: A
- Pay Level: Level-10 as per 7th CPC
- Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
Essential Qualification:
- Degree in Unani from a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized under the relevant council.
- Enrolment on the Central Register of the respective stream or in the Central/State Register of Indian Medicine.
- 3 years' clinical and/or teaching experience in a recognized hospital/teaching institution.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Unani from a recognized University/Statutory/State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on interview performance. However, AIIMS Nagpur may conduct a Screening Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) or another screening process if required to shortlist candidates for interview. The performance in the CBT, if conducted, will not carry weightage in the final selection.
The interview will carry 100 marks. The minimum level of suitability is 50 marks for UR/EWS, 45 marks for OBC and 40 marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
CBT Pattern
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Questions: 75 MCQs
- Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer
The CBT, if conducted, will be used only for shortlisting candidates for the personal interview.
Examination Syllabus
Medical Officer (Homeopathy):
The syllabus includes Organon of Medicine and principles of Homoeopathic Philosophy and Psychology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Homeopathic Materia Medica, Homeopathic Pharmacy, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Practice of Medicine, Surgery, Repertory and Community Medicine, among other subjects.
Medical Officer (Unani):
The syllabus includes Arabic and Mantiq wa Falsifa, Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya, Tasreehul Badan, Munafeul Aaza, Tareekh-e-Tib, Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, Hmul Advia, Mahiyatul Amraz, Communication Skills, Moalajat I & II, Amrazo Niswan, Hmul Qabalat wa Naumaulood, Hmul Jarahat and related subjects.

Candidates are advised to submit their applications well in advance without waiting for the closing date.
