    CCRH STSH 2026: ₹30,000 Research Studentship for BHMS Students – Apply Before 31 August 2026

    The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) has officially invited applications for the Short-Term Studentship in Homoeopathy (STSH) 2026.

    The STSH programme provides students with an opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced faculty members from their own medical college while learning research methodology and scientific writing.

    The initiative aims to inspire future researchers in Homoeopathy and strengthen evidence-based practice.

    Who Can Apply?

    • BHMS students from 2nd Year to Internship.
    • Must be studying in a recognized Homoeopathic Medical College in India.
    • Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
    • The research project must be carried out in the student's own medical college.
    • The guide should be a permanent full-time faculty member of the institution.

    Students whose internship ends within three months after the last date of registration are not eligible to apply.

    Studentship Benefits

    • ₹30,000 stipend upon successful completion.
    • Certificate issued by CCRH.

    Important Dates

    • Application Opens: July 2026
    • Last Date for Registration & Proposal Submission: 31 August 2026
    • Shortlisted Candidates: December 2026
    • Research Period: January – July 2027
    • Final Report Submission: August – September 2027
    • Result Declaration: January 2028
    • Certificate & Stipend: February – March 2028

    Selection Process

    Applications will be evaluated by a panel of experts based on the quality and scientific merit of the submitted research proposal. Only shortlisted candidates will be permitted to undertake the research project. The Council's decision regarding selection will be final.

    Research Guidelines

    • Only one proposal can be submitted by each student.
    • Two students may work under one guide, but not on the same research topic.
    • Ethics Committee approval (IEC/IAEC) is mandatory before commencing research wherever applicable.
    • Incomplete applications or proposals without the required attestation form will be rejected.
    • Research should be original and should not copy previous work.

    Interested BHMS students are encouraged to prepare their research proposal early and submit their application well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
