The Andaman & Nicobar Union Territory Health Mission (A&N UTHM), has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the posts of Consultant Climate Change & Quality Assurance, General Duty Medical Officer (AYUSH – RBSK – Ayurveda), and State Programme Manager (SHS).

Vacancy Details

1. Consultant Climate Change & Quality Assurance

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Salary: ₹95,000/-
• Qualification: Medical, Dental or AYUSH Degree from a recognized institute.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Quality Assurance projects resulting in hospital accreditation/certification such as NABH, NABL, ISO 9001 or JCI.
• Age Limit: Not more than 60 years.

2. General Duty Medical Officer (AYUSH – RBSK – Ayurveda)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Salary: ₹40,000/-
• Qualification: Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University/State Board/Council recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1976.
• Registration: Enrolment in the Central Register or State Register of Indian Medicine.
• Age Limit: Not more than 60 years.

3. State Programme Manager (SHS)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Salary: ₹60,000/-
• Qualification: Graduation with MBA in Healthcare Management/Hospital Administration/Public Health/Health Management or equivalent postgraduate management qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Public Health Programmes with programme planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting experience.
• Desirable: Knowledge of NHM guidelines, MS Office, project management, monitoring & evaluation and data analysis.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of application.

Selection Process

Selection will be made purely on merit. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The interview date, time and venue will be communicated separately. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Contract Period

The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis for 11 months. Extension, if any, will depend upon satisfactory performance and project requirements and will not confer any right to regular appointment.
