NIH Kolkata Recruitment 2026 – Research Associate

National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata has released an official notification for the post of Research Associate on contract basis under the Central Sector Scheme of Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta Evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana (AOGUSY).

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Ph.D. in the concerned subject
• OR MD (Homoeopathy) included in 2nd Schedule of HCC Act 1973
• OR Degree in Homoeopathy with minimum 3 years research experience in Ministry of Ayush / ICMR / CSIR / DST funded project and at least 1 indexed peer-reviewed publication

Mandatory: Registration with Central/State Council of Homoeopathy.

Desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
• Knowledge of research work

Age Limit

Not exceeding 40 years as on date of interview.

Terms & Conditions (Important)

• Purely contractual engagement
• No TA/DA for attending interview
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
• 1.5 days leave per completed calendar month
• No other allowances apart from consolidated remuneration
• Candidate must be ready to join immediately
• Director, NIH reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement
