NCH Invites UG, PG Students of Homoeopathy to fill KAP Survey

National Commission for Homoeopathy  (NCH), Homoeopathy Education Board (HEB), is in process of reviving the Rules and Regulations related to Homoeopathy education.

In continuation to it, Knowledge, Aptitude and Perception (KAP) Survey has been developed for the students who are currently undertaking B.H.M.S and Post Graduate (Hom.) course.

In the context of the above, the students of UG (BHMS) and PG in all the college are requested to register on www.nch.org in student portal, login and then fill the survey questionnaire which will be available upto 31-03-2022 till 5.30 pm.

In this survey there are totally 25 questions to be filled, in which the following questions are asked about Modern Pharmacology course 

21. If modern pharmacology introduced, in which year it is most suitable for study?

•  2nd year
•  3rd year
•  Final year
•  Can’t say

 

22. What according to you should be purpose of introducing syllabus on modern pharmacology?

• To get knowledge to better manage patients which are already taking allopathic medicines
• To understand patients getting side effects
• To get job as opportunity in various posts of National Health Mission
• Only for knowledge sake and not for practicing allopathy medicines.

 

23. Do you think there is need of change/update in course curriculum of BHMS?

•  Yes course curriculum need update
•  No current curriculum is upto mark
•  There is need for revision of curriculum
•  A & C

Though this survey is about Knowledge, Aptitude and Perception and aims to collect information about classroom teaching, clinical teaching, course, exam, research, etc., Apart from these they should have collected information regarding infrastructure of colleges (Building, Lab, OPD, IPD, Teaching and Non Teaching Staff), fee structure (prescribed fees and other extra fees, fines) which are the key and important things in student's life and their ability to acquire knowledge.

But NCH has initiated some steps, by which we can expect a better change in Homoeopathy education to compete with other system of Medicine and is the need of this hour.
