National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Chennai invites eligible candidates for attending Walk-In Interview / Written Test for the following post under ICMR ‘Ad-hoc’ project entitled "Adverse drug events (ADE) in AYUSH interventions for cervical and lumbar spondylosis: A systematic review"

Name of the Post: Project Research Assistant (AYUSH)

No. of Post: 01 post

Qualification: BSMS / BAMS / BUMS / BHMS / BNYS registered in the respective Central / State council(s) or State AYUSH Board(s) (as the case may be) and 3 years of clinical/academic/ research experience from a recognised institution 

Or

Any Postgraduate AYUSH degree (MD / MS) in Siddha / Ayurveda / Unani / Homoeopathy / Yoga and Naturopathy and registered in the respective Central/State council(s) or State AYUSH Board(s)

Age: 30 years (relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms)

Remuneration: Rs.31,000 /- per month (Consolidated)

Nature of Duties:

• Perform literature review in AYUSH related research in selected data bases
• Analyse the data using statistical software’s
• Scientific writing 
• Any other work assigned by the Director / PI / Co-PI / Supervisory Officer 

Duration: 9 months
