Ayush Ministry Invites Fresh Applications for Starting New Colleges
Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has decided to receive fresh applications for starting new Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy Colleges from 1st July to 31st August 2020 for academic year 2021-22 onwards as per the provisions of IMCC Act, 1970 and HCC Act, 1973 respectively.
In view of the above, the Ministry requested the State Governments and Universities may issue NOC and Consent of affiliation respectively for starting new ASU and H Colleges.
Previously, Ministry in its letter dated 15-06-2018 said that it has put a two-year freeze on approvals to open new Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy medical colleges in the country, that is for AY 2019-20, 2020-21
