Awards for Excellence in IT in AYUSH Sector to recognize and promote excellence in implementation of IT initiatives

Purpose of Award

This award seeks to recognize the projects demonstrating use of path breaking IT or innovative use of an existing IT for enhancement in efficiency, effectiveness of process, cost, quality, service delivery or a combination of these.The purpose of the award is to:-

i. Recognize achievements in the area of Information Technology

ii. Disseminate knowledge on effective methods of designing andimplementing sustainable IT initiatives

iii. Encourage incremental innovations in successful IT solutions

iv. Promote and exchange experiences in solving problems, mitigating risks, resolving issues and planning for success through IT initiatives.

v. IT as a Game Changer

Category of the award

There would be two category of awards:

• Gold Award  : Rs.1 Lakh (1 award)
• Silver Award: Rs 50 thousand (5 awards)

Who can Apply/Compete:

Institutions and individuals except winners of Awards for Excellence in IT in AYUSH Sector in 2018, of the following categories can apply, provided they have implemented notable IT based application: -

i. Institutions under Ministry of AYUSH

ii. Colleges, Universities and Research Institution

iii. Hospitals, Clinics and Nursing Homes

iv. Wellness centers practicing AYUSH treatment

v. IT Institution

vi. AYUSH Practitioner

vii. AYUSH Businesses and entrepreneur

How to Apply:

• The nomination can be sent only through Email
• All applicants must fill the Main Application Form. Information is to be given as per prescribed format for projects being nominated. Scanned pdf copy of Main Application form along with attachments MUST be sent to itcell-ayush@gov.in before the last date.
• Nominations received after last date will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Important Note: Nomination other than online mode will NOT be accepted.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The project must be an IT initiative in AYUSH Sector.
2. All nominations MUST be submitted through email at itcell-ayush@gov.in before the last date. Nominations received after last date will not be accepted under any circumstances. 
3. Details furnished would need to be comprehensive and cover the specified aspects of the initiative undertaken. Incomplete submissions not complying with the directions/guidelines detailed herein would not be considered.
4. Verification of the ownership of all shortlisted projects shall be carried out before finalizing results. Supporting details shall be made available by the Project in Charge.
5. The decision of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India in selecting the project/initiative or Award for excellence in IT in AYUSH Sector, shall be final and binding on all the participants.
6. No vigilance proceedings are pending or contemplated against the applicant on the date of application.
7. Applications without completely filled in Main Form will be summarily rejected.
8. There could be a possibility that shortlisted applicants are required to make a presentation to the jury at New Delhi or at any other location.
