Project Officer Post for Ayush Doctors in NIMHANS, Bengaluru

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences(NIMHANS), Bengaluru invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following post on Contract Basis for a DBT funded project entitled “Dementia Science Programme: Incidence/Prevalence/Risk analysis of dementia and basic research thereof” under Dr. Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator.

Educational Qualification:

MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work/Psychology or equivalent and three years of experience in health project management. 

OR

PhD in Social Work/Psychology/Public health or equivalent and one year of experience in handling health project management.

OR

MBBS/ BAMS/BUMS/BHMS and two years of experience in health project management.

Candidates should be conversant with Kannada

Desirable: Experience of project management, Monitoring and evaluation and implementation and at least one publication in peer reviewed journals. 

Knowledge of Epi Info/SPSS/STATA/R software.

Maximum Age: 40 Years.

Salary: Rs. 50,000/- (Consolidated) per month with 10 percent increase in every 

year.

Duration of the appointment: 3 years.

Initial appointment will be made for Six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate.

Key responsibility:

• The project officer will co-ordinate the overall field activities of the site.
• She/he will be responsible for monitoring and supervision of the whole project area.
