Admission For Masters Program in TN MGR Medical University, Chennai 2017 Session

Applications are invited for following masters program conducted by the department of epidemiology of the university for 2017 session

1. M. Sc., EPIDEMIOLOGY ( 2yr program- 4 seats)

• MBBS /BDS/B.A.M.S./B.U.M.S./B.H.M.S./B.S.M.S./B.V.Sc.M.P.T./M.O.T./Pharmacy
• M.Sc in Nursing,/Biostatistics/Statistics/.Nutrition/Biochemistry/Anatomy/Physiology/Pharmacology / and Microbiology other medical related M.Sc degree courses.

2. M. Sc., PUBLIC HEALTH ( 2yr program - 16 seats, 50 % reserved for government sponsored *** Candidates)

• Bachelor degree in health or health-related programs such as Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS, BHMS), Veterinary, Nursing, Physio/Occupational Therapy and Pharmacy
• Bachelor of Science in Life sciences Food Technology (or Their equivalents, Statistics, Nutrition,Microbiology from a recognised University acquired as a full-time student
• Bachelor in Engineering (Civil) employed in Government/Public Sector undertaking/WASH projects/Water supply Projects/ RD Projects

*** Sponsored /Deputed Candidates: A candidate applying for admission as sponsored/deputed candidate is required to furnish the following certificate from his/her employer for admission to the course that the candidate concerned is a permanent or regular employee of the Government Department/Institute /Medical college

 

3. M. Sc., BIO STATISTICS ( 2yr program - 4 seats)

• Degree with Statistics as the Main Branch (or)
• Degree in any subject with Statistics as Ancillary/Allied
