Maharashtra Government plans Homoepathy Research Centre
MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government is mulling over establishing a homoeopathy research centre in the state. Education minister Vinod Tawde made an announcement in this regard.
"The importance of homoeopathy is being understood across the world. This has also necessitated good research in
the area in our state so that many people can benefit from this stream of medicine. The government is thinking of establishing a robust centre for homoeopathy research," said Tawde.

He was speaking at an international seminar of homoeopathy organised at the Asian Homoeopathy College. There were demands from some quarters to establish a dedicated university for the field but Tawde said a research centre will be more feasible. The event was attended by homoeopathy doctors from all over the world.
