Ajit.M.Sharan appointed as Secretary in Ministry of AYUSH

New Delhi: The President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Ajit.M.Sharan, IAS as Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) with effect from forenoon of 1st September, 2015.

Sharan is a 1979-batch IAS officer of the Odisha Cadre.

Previously he served as Secretary in the Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
