    Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth conducts MRAV/CRAV Courses

    Rashtriya  Ayurveda  Vidyapeeth  is  an  autonomous  organization  fully  funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. It is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Registrar Societies, Delhi Administration on 11th February, 1988  and functioning  at  Dhanwantari  Bhawan,  Road  No.  66, Punjabi  Bagh  (West), New Delhi–110026.

    The  Vidyapeeth  appoints  renowned  scholars  and  experts/practitioners  in  the field of Ayurveda as Gurus and runs two types of courses under traditional method of ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’.

    1. Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV)-One year course (Chikitsak Guru Shishya  Parampara).
    2. Member of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (MRAV)-Two years course (Acharya Guru Shishya Parampara)
    Eligibility:
    • Candidates  possessing M.D./M.S. degree   in   Ayurveda in  any  of  the following subjects:-Kaya  Chikitsa,  Maulika  Siddhantas,  Kriya  Sharira,  Shalya,  Shalakya,  Vikriti vigyan, Prasuti Tantra, Bala-Roga, Dravyaguna Vigyan, Rasashastra, etc. This   course   is   open   for   those   candidates   who   have   BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) and M.D./M.S (Ayurved Vachaspati) degree included in 2ndschedule of IMCC Act-1970 from an Institution/ College and University.
    • Good Knowledge of Sanskrit language is compulsory.
    • Zeal to undertake critical study of texts of Ayurveda.
    Duration of course: Two year.

    Age limit: Maximum 32 years. Relaxation up to 40 years will be given to regular Teachers duly sponsored by Government.

    Stipend: A stipend of Rs.15820/- plus DA at the rates applicable from time to time plus 2500/-per month is provided to the students of MRAV course.
