Consultant Post for Ayush Professionals in Ministry of Ayush

Applications are invited from citizen of India for following categories of staff to serve in the Ministryof  AYUSH  on  a  consolidated  remuneration  for  working  in  terms  of  the  Central Sector scheme  for International  Cooperation in  AYUSH.  The  appointment  will  be  purely  on contractual  basis  for a period of 12 months initially

Name of the Post: Consultant  (Technical) 

Age limit: Not more than 65 years.

Status of Employment: The staff will be engaged on purely contractual basis (on consolidated salary) initially  for  a  period  of  one  year from  the  date of its  joining. The  tenure  may  be  extended further for another year subject to review of  their performance.

Remuneration: For  Consultant  (Technical) - Rs.  43,500/-. The remuneration for the staff to be engaged will be  revised  annually  by  granting  incremental  increase  of  upto  10%  or  as  revised for  other  such consultants and staff in Ministry of AYUSH, after review of their performance.

Eligibility criteria:
(a)Essential Qualifications: 5-1/2  year’s degree  of AYUSH  Systems (BAMS/BUMS/BNYS/BSMS/BHMS) from recognized institution
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in  Government  Department/Ministry/Statutory  or Autonomous bodies/Public Sector Undertakings/any reputed private organization/Institution etc.

(b)Desirable Qualifications: preference will be given to whom, who possessed following:

• M.D. in AYUSH Systems/Master in Business Administration (MBA), any stream.
• Working knowledge of Computer(MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel etc).
• Exposure in Central/social sector schemes at national, state and district level.

Responsibilities: 

• To  implement  Central  Sector  Scheme  for  promotion  of  International  Cooperation in AYUSH abroad.
• Responsible for implementation of different components of the IC scheme.
• Technical  examination  of  proposals  received  for  seeking  assistance  under  the  Scheme from  stakeholders  to  determine  their  eligibility  in  compliance  with  the  Schematic guidelines.
• Seeking any clarifications from the applicants on various issues / points.
• Submission  of  the  proposals  for  recommendations  of  the  Experts/  Project  Approval Committee.
• Seeking  final  /  close  out  reports,  with  performance-cum-achievement  reports and submission of these reports to the higher officers as the case may be.
• Any other work assigned in the Section.

Candidate  must  enclose self-attested copies  of  date  of  birth certificate, copies  of  degree/diploma and mark sheets, experience certificate with the application form.

Candidate must clearly indicate the name of the post applied for.

Selection Procedure: 

1. The  Selection  Committee  shall  be  formed  to  interview  /  selection  after  following  due procedures and advertisement /notice of website of AYUSH. The Ministry reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in respect of all or any of the posts at any time. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
