Recruitment in Homoeopathy will be made through West Bengal Recruitment Board

Recruitment in Homeopathic services will be made through the West Bengal Recruitment Board, instead of the Public Service Commission(PSC).

The West Bengal Homeopathic Health Service Bill 2014 which is placed in the Assembly stated that all recruitments including basic grade posts in the homeopathic service will be made through the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board

and such provisions are there in the Act so that certain posts in the West Bengal Homeopathic Education Service are filled up by promotion from amongst the members of the West Bengal Homeopathic Education Service.

The decision has been taken so that recruitment in the Homeopathic Service can be made as fast as possible. Senior officials of the state government added that recruitment to the post of lecturer, principal, reader and professor would be made through the Board.

Mr Malay De, principal secretary, health, said that the primary reason for enforcing  the Bill is to make the recruitment process in the Homeopathic Service easy and swift. The department of health and family welfare will issue an advertisement for  recruitment of the officers in the homeopathic service.
