    American Medical College of Homeopathy to Ring Closing NASDAQ Bell

     NASDAQ was founded in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers. NASDAQ stands for National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations and is an American stock exchange. NASDAQ began trading on February 8, 1971, it was the world's first electronic stock market.

    The American Medical College of Homeopathy (AMCH) was established in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1999. Originally named the Desert Institute School of Classical Homeopathy, it changed its name to the American Medical College of Homeopathy in 2006. AMCH is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA), the first homeopathy college to achieve accreditation in the US.

    AMCH has been invited to ring the closing bell at NASDAQ on December 30, 2013. AMCH has graciously invited representatives from the entire US homeopathic community to attend this exciting ceremony.
