    Modern Pharmacology for Homoeo Practitioners by MUHS, Nashik - Admission Notification

    The Government of Maharashtra has decided to start a certificate course in Modern Pharmacology for Registered Homoeopathy Practitioners and has directed Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik to conduct this Certificate Course in Modern Pharmacology in its affiliated Medical Colleges. After acquiring this qualification Homoeopathic Practitioners will be allowed to use Modern Medicine in their medical practice to the limited extent.

    Accordingly, as per direction of Maharashtra Act no. 19 promulgated in the year 2014 necessary amendments in Maharashtra Homoeopathic Practitioner Act 1960 & Maharashtra Medical Council Act 1965 has been done by the State Government of Maharashtra.

    This course will only be conducted in Government Medical Colleges affiliated to MUHS upto intake capacity 50
    students per College. This course will be of One year duration and it will be a part time course. All necessary fees will be announced by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik, from time to time.

    The Homoeopathic Practitioner who are Registered with Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council will  only be allowed for admission to this course. The Registrar MUHS will be the Competent Authority for admission process of this course.

    The application form is available on University website i.e., www.muhs.ac.in. The syllabus of the said course and fee structure is also available on MUHS website.

    After final scrutiny of the applications received, the list of candidates will be published taking into account of seniority of their Registration with the Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council and following Reservation policy of Government of Maharashtra. The candidates will be instructed to take admission to the allotted colleges.

    Eligibility For Admission:
    1. The candidate must be Registered Homoeopathic Practitioner in Maharashtra state under Maharashtra Homoeopathic Practitioner Act 1960. The Practitioners who are registered other  than Maharashtra state shall not be eligible for admission.
    2. The candidate should have Registered himself and should have renewed his registration in due course of time and Registration should have been renewed and valid till the last date of application. The persons whose registration is not renewed / valid will not be considered for admission process.
    3. Admissions will be given as per Seniority of the Registration number in the state Register given by Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council, Mumbai.
    4. Reservation Policy will be followed as per Maharashtra Government Direction.

    Application Form & Information Brochure:
     
    • Information brochure for the Certificate Course of Modern Pharmacology is available on University website i.e., www.muhs.ac.in. Candidates are advised to download & print this brochure with application form and fill it properly with due care.
    • The candidates who had Registered in Maharashtra Homoeopathic Council Mumbai and whose Registration no is from 01 to 10,000 should apply for the academic year 2016-17. The  candidates whose Registration no is above 10,000 should not apply for this year i.e., for the academic year 2016-17, their applications will not be considered.
    Fees:
    • Demand Draft of Nationalised Bank of Rs. 2,000/- (Two Thousand Rupees only) in favour of Registrar, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik. The Application fees shall be Non Refundable.

    Last Date: 
    • The forms completed in all aspects with the attested copies of necessary certificates should reach the University on or before 30-04-2016. The forms which are received after the prescribed cut off date and which are incorrect, incomplete and wrongly filled will not be considered.
    Preparation Of Admission List & Admission Of Candidates:
    • The Competent Authority will scrutinize all the forms received with the help of Admission Committee. Collegewise admission list will be prepared as per seniority in registration, Constitutional reservations and choices given by the candidates.
    • The college wise admission list will be declared on University website i.e., www.muhs.ac.in.
