    Central government and State government conducts many scholarship programmes for the candidates of minor communities and also for Muslim students those want to pursue higher education. Islamic Development Bank is one of the leading organisations which provide a number of scholarships to Muslim students. Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, introduced its scholarship program in many countries including India with a view to promote professional education among Muslim community. 

    The objective of the program is to provide opportunities for the academically meritorious
    and financially needy students to pursue studies in professional degree courses in the approved areas in order to become competent professionals with dedication and commitment to the development of the community and the country.

    Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Programs 2015
    The scholarship is an interest-free loan to students. It covers cost of living, clothing, books, and tuition fees. Recipients are therefore required to refund the scholarship in easy installments after expiry of one year of the completion of graduation or after settling down in profession whichever is earlier. This is necessary because the scholarship is a grant from the Bank to the local community to enable it to sustain into the future to benefit deserving students to enjoy the same educational opportunity. Approved Areas of Study Bachelor’s Degree Courses in Medicine (All branches including Ayurvedic, Unani & Homeopathy) Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Lab Technician, Bio-Technology and Microbiology, Engineering (all branches) Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, Food Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law

    TÃœBITAK Scholarship Graduate Programme
    TÃœBITAK Scholarship Graduate scholarship is given to Indian Muslim medical students those want to pursue a graduate degree program in Turkey. Duration of the TÃœBITAK scholarship is 2 years for the Masters and 4 years for the PhD program. The period of application is from 4 August 2015 to 12 September 2015.

    IDB Scholarship Programme
    Islamic Development Bank provides scholarship to meritorious financially needy young Muslim Indian medical students to pursue undergraduate study in professional courses. The scholarship covers all relevant expenses including tuition fees, health and living costs as determined by the IDB. The application deadline is the month of December.

    High Cost Education Loan Scholarship (HCELS)
    HCELS provides interest free loan scholarship to eligible, financially deserving and meritorious Muslim students, those want to take admission in the first year of the professional full time course or are already pursuing their studies in professional full time course.

    Jamiat-Ulama-e-Hind
    Jamiat – Ulama-e-Hind provides Mujahid Millat Educational Scholarship to meritorious financially needy Muslim students seeking admission to Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer,), M.C.A, Chartered Accountant.

    IDB-BISEW IT Muslim Scholarship
    This scholarship is available for Muslim students for a year-long training on an IT discipline leading to a professional diploma. The scholarship would cover the entire tuition fees for each courses offered. An additional sum of around Tk. 20,000 is spent for certification for each trainee. 

    Muslimin Trust Fund Association Scholarship
    MTFA awards bursaries and scholarships to deserving Muslim students every year. The family income of applicants must not exceed $4,000 per month. They must be currently pursuing full-time post-secondary education in Institutes of Higher Learning. 

    Nohoudh PhD Muslim Scholarship
    Three Nohoudh Muslim scholarships will be available for PhD students. The total value of each scholarship is £21,002 a year for a maximum of three years. Applicants must hold at least a 2.1 honors undergraduate degree and possess a masters’ degree with merit or distinction. 

    The Washington Center Muslim Scholarships
    The Washington Center (TWC) and the Center for Global Understanding (CFGU) have offered scholarship opportunities to support Muslim American undergraduates and recent graduates. Students will be provided with a minimum $5,000 scholarship to help offset TWC program and housing fees. 

    Islamic Community Scholarship Fund
    The Islamic Scholarship Fund is funded by the Islamic Christian Endowed Scholarship Fund and the Islamic Community Endowed Scholarship Fund. Applicants must have fully completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) process at Lourdes to become eligible for the scholarship.
