National Homoeopathic Seminar 2013, Salem - Report

Organizers: The Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Medical Council, Chennai organized National Homoeopathic Seminar on the topic of "Body Language and Homoeopathy"

Inaugural Session: The inauguration started with Prayer and Lighting of Kutthuvillaku by Chief Guest and Welcome address by Dr.N.V.Sugathan, organizing secretary, Presidential address by Dr.G.P.Hahnemann, president of Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic Medical Council, Chennai, Inaugural address by Dr.Arun Bhasme, Vice President, Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, and Special address by Dr.Suresh Nandal, Secretary General, National Federation of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges of India, Dr. G.Nirmal, Member, CCH, and T.C.P.Nambiar, Member, TNHMC, Vote of Thanks by Dr.G.Kannan, Member TNHMC.

Dr.T.C.P.Nambiar in his address requested the Vice President of CCH and other CCH Members to take necessary action and create more NRHM (Homeopathy) vacancies in Tamil Nadu.

The Principals and Heads of various Homoeopathic Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu were honoured in the occasion. They are Dr.T.R.Leelabai Rajendran, Chairman, White Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College, Attur, Dr.A.Nagarajan, Principal, Vinayaka Mission's Homoeopathic Medical College, Salem, Dr.A.Sakunthala, Principal, Venkateshwara Homoeopathic Medical College, Chennai, Dr.S.Senthil Kumaran, Principal, Martin Homoeopathic Medical College, Coimbatore, Dr.C.K.Mohan, Principal, Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College, Kulasekharam, Dr.K.R.Rajeev Kumar, Principal, Dr.Hahnemann Homoeopathic Medical College, Rasipuram, Dr.P.Cheramannan, Principal, Sri Sairam Homoeopathic Medical College, Chennai, Dr.Sivaraj Kalpana, Managing Director, Sivaraj Homoeopathic Medical College, Salem, Dr.Rufus Nathaniel, RVS Homoeopathic Medical College, Coimbatore.

Scientific Session started with speaker Dr.Ajith Kulkarni giving an informative lecture in the topic of Body Language and Homoeopathy.

There were around 500 delegates from all over Tamil Nadu. 

Pharmaceutical companies, Book Publishers displayed their products by setting up stalls near the venue.

A Lucky draw was conducted for the delegates who participated in the seminar and prizes of medicine worth Rs.4,500 were given to the delegates. The prizes are sponsored by Bjain Pharmaceuticals, Sri Sathya Sakthi Homoeopathy Medical, Salem, Vasisht Pharma and Powell Laboratories.

The seminar concluded in the evening with vote of thanks by Dr.Winston Vargheese, and Dr.Rajendran.
